Take a look at HackSpace magazine (you can read it for free). This will give you an idea of our style, the sort of content we print and what we're all about.
Come up with an idea that you think would be a good fit. It should fit into one of the following categories:
Feature – These look at a particular area of technology or the making community. They highlight interesting or important ideas and shine a spotlight on great projects.
Tutorial – There's broadly two types of tutorial -- project-based and skills-based, and would be interested in pitches for either. We're looking for tutorials at all skill levels from beginner to advanced, so don't worry if you think a topic isn't hard enough -- everyone's a beginner at something.
We're particularly interested in 'workshop' tutorials that help our readers improve their skills in creating physical objects whether that's through 3D printing, lasercutting, woodwork, metal work or any other fabrication technology.
Review – Tell the world about your experiences with a bit of hardware. It can be the latest kit, or it can be something that you've used and abused over many years and know every problem with, and feature of.
