Youbionic is a project born five years ago. "Our robotic human arm is the first 3D-printed arm with shape, structure, and movements, obtained from an in-depth study of the human arm." says Federico Ciccarese. "These features make it compatible with remote control uses (through an exoskeleton), or independently controlled with the use of artificial neural networks."

"We wanted to develop this so that it could be taken and developed by the greatest number of developers, so the challenge was to use low-cost components without sacrificing the quality of the device."

"We managed to offer it at an affordable price: $97 for print files and electronic documentation, $150 for prints and mechanical and electronic components."
